Dr. David Durst
Lead Pastor
Pastor David loves God, people and bringing God and people together. He loves being a husband, father, grandfather and shepherd to the people of New Life and to students at Asbury Seminary. He is the author of Finding God in Your World and other resources that help people find salvation in Christ. He is a lifelong learner who loves to preach God’s word with freshness.

Jason Stark
Worship Pastor
Pastor Jason has led worship at New Life Community since 2016 and is a doctoral student at Asbury Seminary. His goal as worship pastor is to set the stage for the Lord Jesus, and to foster an environment where God is exalted and people are made whole. He leads a great worship team, and is grateful for the opportunity to serve with his talents and passion.

Stephanie Junker
Teaching Pastor and Youth Ministries
Pastor Stephanie often serves on sermon series teams, planning and preaching. She invests in our youth ministries as well as a young adults life group. She is passionate about the Bible and theology, as well as the joy of experiencing God’s holiness in body and soul. She looks forward to teaching gospel workers to spread the truth and reality of God’s kingdom. On the lighter side, she’s skilled as a horse trainer, a baker, and hospitality.

Brian Nutter
Pastor of Prayer and Healing
Pastor Brian fills many roles, including full-time government employment, part-time businessman and martial arts instructor, and joyful minister of the gospel. He has a passion to serve the least, the lost and the hurting. He models listening and healing prayer, and expects God to transform individuals, families and communities. Brian first heard a call to pastor while serving in the US Coast Guard and he is still “always ready” to reach out and serve.

Ed Frank
Executive Pastor
Ed is a terrific thinker and problem solver. He helps to keep Pastor David on track and brings order to ministries, events and projects. The heart of his mission, however, is making disciples, helping us center our lives in Christ. He has thought and written well on what makes a faithful disciple of Christ. He has retired early so he can be available to mentor, teach and serve.

Valerie Stark
Children's Minister
Val is a mother of four girls. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Family Life Education from Spring Arbor University. She has served in many children’s ministry positions in both Michigan and Kentucky. Val currently teaches Spiritual Formation classes for children ages four to seven through Asbury Seminary. She leads parenting classes and believes in the power of strong families.
